Actually through my experience this is the most effective approach in motivating workers to follow safety procedures and report unsafe acts or unsafe conditions, when we applied the rewarding system for the monthly best SOCs " Safety observation cards" , and this rewarding system included good bonus for the monthly winners, this enormously increased the number of safety observations from workers from different departments as everyone started to focus on noticing and observing problems during their work, which helped us to correct more unsafe conditions and improve the workplace safety in a much better way.
