En mi trabajo, en algún momento, realizábamos reuniones diarias a primera hora, donde se daban balances del trabajo de cada persona y cuales eran los objetivos del día. Se iba pasando de uno por uno para conocer sus comentarios, pero ello generaba que solo la persona que hablaba estaba enfocada, mientras que los demás aportaban poco o nada durante ese momento hasta que les tocara su participación. Nos reunimos entre los lideres del grupo para analizar esta situación ya que nos tomaba mucho tiempo esas reuniones, analizamos todos los aspectos y acordamos reducir el tiempo de reunión, enfocándonos en cosas puntuales y el desglose de cada punto se revisaría durante el día con cada uno de los trabajadores en especifico.

For example, if asked about a challenge you faced, you might explain the Situation (tight deadline), your Task (complete a project), the Actions you took (prioritized tasks, worked overtime), and the Result (project delivered on time).

Often the transion to implementing Lean is simply cultural, as locations have always done it the way that they have. Getting buy-in even at a small scale such as a manufacturing cell whose "suppliers" might be an upstream operation or a warehouse I have found to be useful. Before and after videos and photos and measureable results help to gain commitment. At a larger scale, more structured change management approaches such as ADKAR (Awareness of the need for change, Desire – To Participate and support the change, Knowledge – On how to change, Ability – To implement required skills and behaviors, Reinforcement – To sustain the change) when integrating with a Lean initiative, help drive successful implementations.
