I would also emphasise on creating a open culture/ environment for receiving that critical input. Create an environment where any point of time people are able to reach without hesitation. Don’t let the frustration steam build up.

From my experience, periodical performance review of the work group could reveal the job satisfaction gap or their need. These include recognition, answer to the question ‘ what is there for me in achieving or exceeding the KPI ?’ , knowledge gap

First and foremost, it's essential to determine the underlying reasons for your team's lack of motivation. From my experience, causes of demotivation in teams includes, not able to master on one thing, no clarity on what/why they are doing, not able to measure their progress, work environment, client behavior at times, & lack of acknowledgement of efforts. To overcome this 1. I suggest my team to make gradual Progress in one Business function/domain, add to your knowledge daily & gain expertise, its like watering your plant daily and see them grow. 2. Encourage to contribute their learning ( whitepaper, sessions, social media). 3. Letting team know on bigger picture and how their work impacts overall project/Org Goals. 4. Apprise management on members contribution & get introduced. 5.Use monthly/quarterly/annual reward mechanisms.

All ways which listed are key tools to keep the team motuvated depends on the situation ,if they are loosing the purpose challnge them,if theyvate burned out have a fun with the team, always understNd their needs ,but core of the core is effective communication

The over all project plan is the road map to the success of the project, this plan needs to be detailed to the work break down structure , the implementation schedule is to include every work group of work break down based on a weekly or bi-weekly gantt chart in participation with the group leaders to ensure the ownership of the schedule A KPI parameters are also clearly to agreed upon

Discuss with team and always bring more communication in place - Small small appreciations boost enthu of the team - Don't keep the food for long to get it stale . Appreciating at timely manner is very important

Communication is the backbone of motivation. Clearly articulate project goals, expectations, and vision. Regular feedback sessions and team meetings ensure alignment and foster collaboration. Express appreciation and recognition for their efforts openly and regularly.

Remember that "empowering" the team doesn't mean they magically have the necessary power to remove things standing in their way. Show up to their sprint reviews. Ask questions about what's slowing them down. Then aggressively leverage *your* power to address those issues.

Communicating the role and contribution of every work group to the overall achievement of the plan will motivate and becomes a platform for accountability , these and continuous and pertinent training can empower the team to perform better

One thing I always look for is whether those in the team are seeing personal fulfillment in their work. If not, it could be for various reasons: - not seeing the value of their contributions - not being recognized for their contributions - not operating 90%+ within their strengths These are then the areas that attract my focus, to help their motivation.

Motivation is a myth if there is nothing to look forward to. As corporate officials we all are looking forward to achieve/gain something. The best way to motivate anyone in your team is to incentivise on things. It is easy to use phrases, send out messages calling your team “Hello achievers, let’s get this done” but lets be more practical. An award goes a long way.

This contributes to a friendlier work atmosphere and higher employee commitment.

You must let your team consider the milestones of the project as the learning journey they are taking. This will help them to become a perfect team member in each role they are playing.

Motivating your team can be a challenge, but there are several strategies you can employ to get team members excited and increase their motivation. While working on a software development team can be challenging, it's important to find ways to relax and have fun together. We had thought about internal team hackathons or coding challenges between team members, but they were always too challenging. We've always had a meme contest: We'd host a meme contest where team members created and shared funny or creative memes on the topic of software development, computer science, or life as a developer. This was a fun way to relieve stress and create a sense of community among the team.

Motivating the team is quite challenging and the approach I used to take is to challenge them to come up with best practices or ideas where the team thinks that the process, work flows, implementation practices and anything that can be best implemented compared to the current system and provides a value add to customer. Always encourage the team when they come up with innovative ideas and they will be super charged to showcase their expertise. Effective communication and leadership understanding their issues and concerns also help to motivate the team

The team members should feel the enjoyment of the end-users while the job is done. When they empathize with the customers and their ease of work after the mission is accomplished they will work harder while they are more delighted.

What I have found to be successful and breathe new life into your team is to find a way to inspire them. This can come in the form of a quote, blog post or video to add relevance to your existing situation. I also recommend showing some of your own vulnerability in your effort to inspire. For example, several months ago, I challenged my team to come forth with their biggest failure from their past, and provide what it was GOOD to fail. Setting the table with my own failure example made for a very engaging and relatable conversation. Sometimes it’s as simple as letting your team know what we do is usually not a life and death decision and if we need to pivot because we’ve learned something, it takes the blame off of their shoulders.

Get to know your team and make sure you understand what they need. Then, work to get it for them. Be their evangelist, their lead blocker, the remover of impediments. Communicate openly about performance and expectations. Celebrate and reward wins. Do your best to make work fun and rewarding.

Few items I did in the past to motivate my team includes: 1. Give them a problem which excites them 2. Ask the team members to come up with incentives they need so that they can fix the problem😜 3. I provided lunch and dinner to keep them focused 4. Every Friday, encouraged people to do what they are passionate about after 4 pm 5. No meeting Wedesdays - since no one wants meetings, we decided to start this just for our team - it literally boosted productivity of entire team including executives 6. Clear the clutter day - every monday I would nudge the team to clear up unwanted items in their jira board - meaning close jira issues which are no longer valid, this helped team focus a lot on priority stories 7. Coffee & doughnut meet ups

You should promote a sense of belonging in your team. The best tool is to create a common language that only team members understand. This will give them a feeling that only they are able to solve the challenges during the project time. For example consider this sentence: Who is responsible to make sure that the dinner is ready tonight? Just reminding the responsibility of the one who must archive the docs.
