*** Our NFT credentials and microcredentials are Open Badge 3.0 *** At POK, we are thrilled to announce that our NFT credentials and microcredentials have achieved Open Badge 3.0 certification, placing us among an exclusive group of only 9 companies worldwide. 🎖 What is Open Badge 3.0? Open Badge 3.0 is the most advanced standard for issuing digital credentials. This is the latest version of the Open Badges standard, allowing learners to more easily share their skills and achievements, and have them verified with employers and educational institutions across multiple platforms. ⭐ Key features of Open Badge 3.0: 1. Compliant with Verifiable Credentials (W3C): Badges can be stored and managed in digital wallets, making them easy to use across different platforms and devices. Helping with the portability and interoperability of Certificates and Badges. 2. Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs): Improve privacy and security by replacing traditional email addresses. 3. Endorsements and Comprehensive Learner Records (CLR): aligns with 1EdTech’s Comprehensive Learner Record Standard (CLR Standard) 2.0 standard, making it even easier to share credentials between wallets. 🚀 This achievement reaffirms our commitment to innovation and excellence in issuing digital certificates and credentials. We are proud to join CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology), Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), Digital Promise, InnovateEDU, ISTE and SETDA in establishing Five Quality Indicators for EdTech & AI Products. Creating an open, trusted and innovative digital ecosystem needs educational technology that is safe, evidence-based, inclusive, usable and interoperable. Finding apps and tools that fit those needs takes a lot of time and resources from already overwhelmed school leaders. The collaboration’s goal is to lift some of the burden from school districts as they vet and review apps for teaching and learning. A consistent set of quality indicators, when validated by trusted experts, saves time. Learn more about how we can ease the burden on schools: https://lnkd.in/eeAc9UGc
