🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️ We are filled with joy to share the incredible journey of Ury Eduard Abreu Mella, our Sales Engineer for the Caribbean territory and a beloved member of the Atlantic Bearing Services and ABS Wind family. In 2022, Ury made the brave decision to take on an extraordinary challenge: completing the #Ironman 70.3 held in April 2024 in the Dominican Republic! Driven by his unwavering determination and the support of his family, friends, and the entire ABS community, Ury managed to assemble a team, design a training program, and set strategic milestones that ultimately led him to achieve his goal. And he did all this while balancing his personal life and professional responsibilities! At ABS, we recognized and supported this personal initiative from the start, which we now take the opportunity to showcase as an example of the spirit of self-improvement, capacity for sacrifice, and also as a strategic lesson for our entire team. Congratulations and thank you, Ury! Without a doubt, you reflect the values that define us as a company.

We congratulate our Commercial Director, Pablo Rodriguez, for completing the Business Analytics program at Harvard Business School. Throughout the training, he had the opportunity to review all the quantitative methods used to analyze data, aiming to make better management decisions. This knowledge, and its application to real business problems, will be incredibly helpful in identifying and learning to value many of the data points we collect habitually. Atlantic Bearing Services and ABS Wind continues to invest in a continuous training program, helping our entire team to keep providing up-to-date service for all our clients.

We are excited to welcome two new interns who will be joining us for the entire summer: Dayan Leng Armenteros and Leo Boa Sorte. They will share roles in engineering, logistics, and quality, working closely with our directors in these areas: Carlos Romay, Ariel Solis, and Antonio Martin Hernandez. These additions are part of our ongoing collaboration with the prestigious Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing. Being part of the professional development of #FIU students and witnessing their first steps is a source of pride and privilege for us. This aligns with our mission to foster the growth of young professionals and promote intergenerational cooperation. We are confident that they will make significant contributions to our company. Under the agreement signed with Florida International University (FIU), a delegation from the Atlantic Bearing Services and ABS Wind team had the opportunity and privilege to tour various campus facilities, accompanied by professors and university representatives, to present our commitment to research and the professional development of students. Following the appointment of our CEO, Alejandro Pardinas, to the National Industrial Advisory Board t.ly/bZz9- 👈 , this visit marks the implementation of the agreed-upon initiatives. These include the creation of an “ABS Day,” where an ABS delegation will periodically visit the university to interact with students, professors, and researchers. Additionally, we will advise and mentor a group of students on their final year project, addressing real-world problems relevant to our industry, and offer internship opportunities, allowing students to learn about our operations, structure, and benefit from the knowledge and experience of our professionals. During the tour, we had the opportunity to introduce our company to the attendees and explain the various lines of collaboration that will help them connect with the professional world. We also visited the research laboratory, the mechanical workshop, and learned about the resources available to mechanical engineering students. We were truly impressed. Our congratulations to FIU!
