Tony Vasselin, the Director of Operations at Accor for the Athletes and Media Villages, takes us through the meticulous efforts involved in getting the Athletes Village ready to welcome over 25,000 people, across 70+ buildings and 14,500 beds. 🔔 Welcoming guests with disabilities and ensuring accessibility! We are delighted to announce that 380 Accor hotels are currently in the process of obtaining the "Tourisme & Handicap" label, with over 80 already having received certification. This proactive initiative is fully aligned with our steadfast commitment to delivering great experiences for all travelers, particularly in light of the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our Heartists® are trained to welcome guests with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has an inclusive stay. We've created the "Smart Room" concept to make sure that our rooms are accessible without compromising on design or functionality, and enhanced our digital tools to support guests with disabilities before, during, and after their stay. This includes accessible booking filters on ALL.com and providing 1,000 remote controls for visually impaired athletes and travelers during the Games period. Accor is proud to join and host It's a Penalty campaign launch event at the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel Hotel to combat human trafficking ahead of and during the Paris 2024 Olympics & Paralympics Games.   Together, we will leverage the global platform of the Games to shed light on this critical issue, focus on raising awareness, educating the public and underscoring our unwavering commitment to human rights.   As part of Accor’s commitment, in 2014, we launched the program WATCH (We Act Together for CHildren) to protect children from sexual exploitation. Last year, we introduced a new human rights policy and learning courses on human rights and child sexual exploitation for our employees to raise awareness and better understand how to act in these cases. As Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics Premium Partner, Accor provided our hotels across France with a toolkit on human trafficking, including resources for employees and clients.   #Paris2024 #EndHumanTrafficking
