We successfully concluded the first public exhibition of the Nemo Automotive Ethernet chipset at AutoSens 2024 in Detroit. Our booth attracted a large number of visitors, including sensor partners, Tier-1 suppliers, OEMs, and curious competitors in the SerDes link space. Attendees were thrilled to see the end-to-end live demo featuring the world's smallest and lowest power 10Gbps Ethernet camera bridge chip and the world's first automotive switch with integrated quad-port 802.3ch PHYs. Our demo setup included four Leopard Imaging Inc. camera modules equipped with the Nemo serializer AS30110, connected via four 15-meter coaxial cables to the Nemo deserializer hub AS30240. The deserializer then aggregated the four video streams and fed them into an Orin kit, simulating a central CPU. Each day, our team powered up the setup at 8:30 AM, and it ran flawlessly throughout the day. A highlight of the exhibition was inviting visitors to place their fingers on the quad-port deserializer chip to feel its temperature while all four 10G PHY ports were in operation.
