We are excited to have this project kick off next week as we support the City of Chico and Dewberry by providing construction management and inspection services!
The Esplanade Corridor Safety & Accessibility Improvement Project is scheduled to kick off next week. Franklin Construction, Inc. will commence work to construct a 1.2-mile Class I bicycle and pedestrian facility along the Esplanade between East 11th Avenue and Memorial Way. Additionally, Class III bike boulevard improvements along Oleander Avenue between East 10th Avenue and Memorial Way will be made along with the installation of a new roundabout at the intersection of Oleander Avenue and Memorial Way. Other improvements, such as upgraded ADA curb ramps and a new traffic signal at the intersection of E. 1st Avenue, are also part of the project. 2024 has kicked off on a positive and busy note for us! We hosted an employee appreciation event at Top Golf, attended the Western Winter Workshop and NACE conferences, kicked off Women in Construction Week for the City of Elk Grove, and continued to support our state and local agencies on infrastructure projects throughout California. We are looking forward to rest of the year as construction season heats up!

This year Albat provided construction inspection and source inspection services on the Pine Hill Road Over Swain Slough Bridge Replacement project for the County of Humboldt in partnership with Ghirardelli Associates. The project constructed a single span precast wide flange girder bridge on CISS pile foundations and included regrading approach roadways, installation of guardrail and bridge rail, and further improvements to the surrounding area. We are excited to see this project reach completion and look forward to what next year has in store for us!

Albat is providing construction management and inspection services to the County of Calaveras for their High Visibility Thermoplastic Striping Project. We are excited to help the County in improving road visibility during nighttime and inclement weather to reduce injury collisions along approximately 100 miles of rural County roadways.
