Our mission has been and always will be to empower individuals who are blind or who have vision loss by providing training, employment opportunities, rehabilitation, and support services. To that end, we created a manufacturing business with our employees making products for large companies and government agencies from the plastics and micro-molding division. Custom production, injection micro-molding, injection blow molding, and injection stretch blow molding are a few of the areas the #Alphapointe employees specialize in making. With your support we can continue to train and employee people with vision loss, allowing them to live a life with more independence. We love giving tours so people can see what we do and why we do it. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology (@AcademyEyeSmart), more than 10,000 people were seriously injured in 2022 from the use of fireworks, and 65% of these people were simply bystanders. The possibilities are endless when it comes to injuries caused by #fireworks — misfires, malfunctions, and dangerous ingredients in legal fireworks. Many firework injuries cause damage to the eyes including blunt force trauma, heat burns, and possible chemical exposure.
