This Emerson Ave widening project is almost complete! This reconstruction project will improve the pavement structure, drainage, pedestrian accessibility, traffic flow, and overall safety of the roadway. Residents can expect to see two additional vehicular lanes added to the road in each direction, a shared left turn median, new traffic signals, and sidewalks on one side of the roadway with a shared use path on the other. This path and these sidewalks come equipped with ADA compliant curbs and curb ramps. Staff from our Indianapolis design center, led by our Utility Infrastructure experts, visited the Carmel Wastewater Treatment Plant to learn more about its operations and water purification processes. At American Structurepoint, we are committed to developing our staff and one way to do that effectively is by sharing our knowledge and expertise with one another.

At American Structurepoint, we are your industry experts for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant initiative. With $5 billion in federal funding available through 2026, we are dedicated to helping communities apply for planning, demonstration, and/or implementation grants. Our goal is to create long-term Comprehensive Safety Action Plans to maximize the available funds and create safer streets for everyone. The next round of applications is due in August 2024. Our growing Ohio team is eager to enhance our services with a new design center, bringing together seasoned professionals to serve Northern Ohio. Our Akron design center will collaborate closely with our Cleveland design center, offering transportation, utility, infrastructure, investigative, civil engineering, and construction inspection services to the clients and communities we serve.
