Maritime shipping 🚢 represents 2% of global GHG's - clean fuels like ammonia are essential to decarbonize this sector. At the Crédit Agricole CIB Shipping Decarbonization conference in NY, I was a pleasure to share how Ammobia's technology will provide the shipping industry with low-cost clean ammonia and learn from fellow panelists Ludovic Saverys (Exmar/CMB.TECH) and Nirav Patel (Big Hill Industries) how their organizations are working towards the same goal. Thank you to Michel-Pierre Flipo, CFA, Fanny Charrier and the broader Crédit Agricole CIB team for the opportunity - now all hands on deck on the race to decarbonize!
[#CONFERENCE] 📢 On Tuesday 25th June, we hosted in New York a conference, chaired by Thibaud Escoffier, dedicated to the seaborne transportation of the low carbon fuels of the future, in the context of the Marine Money Week, gathering #shipping companies, investors and stakeholders of the hydrogen and low carbon community. After an update by Steve Gordon on #shipping markets, Gordon Shearer set the scene of the opportunities and perspectives of LNG, methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen both as a fuel and as cargo for ships. Richard Tyrrell, Jerry Kalogiratos and Yasuhiro Suzuka (M.O.L.) highlighted where will demand come from for these cargos and how shipping will play a strategic role to enable a wider utilisation of these low carbon fuels, including by investing into modern and innovative ships. We also invited Karen Baert, Nirav Patel and Ludovic Saverys to present their new technologies and infrastructure investments into the production of ammonia and methanol during a round table moderated by Michel-Pierre Flipo, CFA.

I look forward to speaking at the Ammonia Energy conference in Rotterdam, Netherlands on Friday, June 7 at 11 AM about how Ammobia's technology innovation enables low-cost, clean ammonia production. 🇳🇱 🇪🇺 This conference brings me close to home in many ways. At Ammobia, our mission is to feed and fuel our world with clean ammonia 🌱 . The conference is organized by the Ammonia Energy Association, an organization at the forefront of clean ammonia advancement and education for now 2 decades. I look forward to engaging with industry peers and experts, and join forces to advance our clean ammonia world together. 🤝 Reach out if you will be there and would like to connect! ➡ Find out more at https://nh3event.com/

We are thrilled to welcome Ammobia to our 2024 Cleantech to Market (C2M) program at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business! Ammobia was selected from a nationwide pool of applicants who were vetted through a rigorous, three-stage selection process, including the selection of the finalists by a 33-person industry panel. As part of our program, Ammobia will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of University of California, Berkeley students who will dedicate over 800 hours to providing critical commercialization support. Together, they will focus on identifying the most viable initial markets, prospective customers and partners, optimal business models, funding sources, and related strategies. We are excited to see the transformative impact of this partnership and look forward to supporting Ammobia on their journey to commercialization success! C2M is a donor-supported program now in its 16th year that relies upon the generous support of key sponsors like the California Energy Commission, New Energy Nexus, Breakthrough Energy , MetLife, and Chevron.
