As part of our Aries Linden Plant Appreciation Month, we're spotlighting employees who have gone above and beyond on the front-line. This month Connecticut passed a new law banning the land application of sludge containing PFAS compounds, effective October 2024. This new law underscores the importance of innovative waste management technologies that can effectively recycle sludge that contains high levels of PFAS and poses significant environmental challenges. At Aries Clean Technologies, our state-of-the-art technology complements traditional approaches by transforming biosolids into energy and effectively destroying PFAS compounds. These "forever chemicals" persist in the environment and our bodies, posing serious health risks, including cancer, thyroid disease, and developmental issues in children. 🚨 Public water providers across the U.S. are now required by the EPA to test for and reduce PFAS levels in drinking water to almost zero over the next five years.
