About us

The Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association (AzHLA) is the leading public policy advocate for the Arizona Lodging Industry. We represent over 30,000 rooms statewide and 375+ members including hotel, resorts, B&B's and related industry partners. Our mission: To Unify, Protect, Enhance, and Promote the interests of the Arizona Lodging Industry. Consistently building on the goals and objectives first established in 1938, AzHLA continues to represent and serve all segments of Arizona's diverse lodging industry. Regardless if you are a seasoned hotelier or are new to the industry, we have something for you. Participate in industry events to grow your professional network, take advantage of the AH&LA Educational Institute to become certified in over 40 different hotel positions including lodging's highest designation of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), or just tap into AzHLA's numerous marketing and operational discount programs to increase your hotel's bottom line. AzHLA ensures the national interests of the Arizona's lodging industry are protected and served by its affiliation with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). Representing some 10,000 property members nationwide, accounting for more than 1.4 million guest rooms, AH&LA is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and it provides advocacy on Capitol Hill, public relations and image management, education, research, and other services to ensure a positive business climate for the U.S. lodging industry.
