Last but not least for our intern features is William Strader, a student at the University of Chicago. Will plans to work in the insurance industry to some extent with the ultimate goal of becoming an agent. And he's well on his way! He chose to intern at Ash because he heard about the collaborative and welcoming culture, and he's glad he did because he's learning A LOT! As an intern for our Retirement team, Will has had the opportunity to dive deep into annuities and the retirement income process. He's even had the chance to work with inforce policies and our AMS platform. Will has been a great addition to our team and we can't wait to see him reach his goals in the future!

Members of our leadership team showed off their grilling skills this afternoon. (And yes, their burgers and hotdogs were delicious!) 🍔🌭 What do you think we should have them make next?

Meet Sean Huynh, a student at Purdue University and our third featured intern! This is Sean's second summer interning with our IT Help Desk team. He returned because he loved being part of an organization that is truly part of the Fort Wayne community and had a reputation for success. Plus, it's like he's never left! Sean was able to pick up where he left off and provide technical support to employees and advisors. We are glad to have him back and can't wait to watch him continue to grow in his role!

Our second feature for our lead up to #NationalInternDay is Ricky Nill, a student at Purdue University. Ricky is studying selling and sales management with the ultimate goal of becoming a manager. He applied at Ash because of the culture, and it has definitely not disappointed! In addition to being part of a culture where good enough is not the standard, Ricky has had the chance to dive right into the world of life insurance. He's learned about the different types of life insurance, the various ways to set up policies and has even run some life insurance quotes! Ricky noted that the learning does not stop. He continues to expand his knowledge and skills every day, making the most of his internship experience.

#NationalInternDay is right around the corner! So, we are showcasing the four amazing interns on our team! First up is Micah Long, a student at Taylor University. Micah is studying finance and would like to be in a position where he can help others find financial success. And he's off to a great start! Micah has been learning A LOT with our Life Marketing and Advanced Markets teams. From life insurance basics to estate planning – Micah has had the opportunity to dive right in, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience. And we know he's not going to stop there! Micah is still very interested in learning more on using life insurance in retirement and how to structure different policies. We have enjoyed watching Micah grow in his role and can't wait to see what the future has in store for him!
