The Aspiration community is supporting pollinator agroforestry in Haiti. Not sure what that means? In a nutshell, pollinator agroforestry is a sustainable farming method that promotes biodiversity and benefits pollinators (like bees 🐝). This helps grow in-demand products and boosts local economies. Aspiration customers are funding incredible work in Haiti through our Plant Your Change program*. In partnership with veritree, Prosperity Catalyst and Fanm Limye, this Haitian community is planting trees and setting up beehives that help our planet and provide economic benefits through the sale of honey and beeswax. This is what they are singing in the video: "We are wozo, wozo we are, they may cut us off, they may even cut our root, when the rain comes, we will flourish and grow back!" We recently shared that we are partnering with American Forests to help them restore areas of California affected by the 2020 Creek Fire. 🤝We’re excited to announce that we’re supporting American Forests in their effort to restore areas affected by the Creek Fire in the Sierra Nevada mountains! ⛰️🌲 Over 380,000 acres of land were burned during the fire, which is why American Forests, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service is planting hundreds of thousands of trees to help restore the damaged ecosystem.
