Hi, I'm Taressa and I'm thrilled to be taking over this week's #WelcomeWednesday Spotlight! 👋 Get to know me! ❓What is my facility and title? 🙋♀️: I am the new Director of Nursing at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bridgepark! ❓Where did I go to school and receive my degree? 🙋♀️: I went to Standard College of Nursing! ❓Why am I most excited to join Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bridgepark? 🙋♀️: The support is amazing. It's impossible not to enjoy working here. ❓What made me want to enter the Skilled Nursing field? 🙋♀️: My dad was in a Nursing Home so I was once on the other side and can relate, which now drives me to be there for my residents and their loved ones. ❓One fun fact about myself? 🙋♀️: Underneath it all, I’m silly! 😂 I'm so excited to be joining the Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bridgepark team and look forward to making a real difference in the lives of others! "My wife's stay at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Baltimore Washington was truly life-changing... It was instrumental in her recovery after her stroke. Coming from an advanced rehab setting we were worried her strength would not continue. She had limited mobility and faced significant challenges in performing daily activities. From the moment we arrived, the team at Baltimore Washington made us feel welcome and cared for. The therapists were incredibly knowledgeable and tailored a rehabilitation program specifically for her needs. The facility went above and beyond, providing all the necessary equipment for her recovery. Through their intensive physical therapy sessions, she regained strength in her legs and was able to walk short distances. Occupational therapy helped her relearn essential skills, and speech therapy significantly improved her communication abilities. What set Autumn Lake Healthcare at Baltimore Washington apart was the genuine care and encouragement from the staff. They celebrated every small victory with us and spoiled us with many activities, treats, and things to do, making the tough days more manageable. We are immensely grateful to this facility for their dedication and support. I highly recommend this facility to anyone recovering from a stroke. They not only helped her regain her independence but also restored our hope for the future and we look forward to what the future holds for her.
