This time last week we joined airport and industry partners, brands and competitors at The Airport F&B + Hospitality Conference & Awards (FAB) in Ontario, California, USA. It was inspiring to see some of our leaders take to the stage: David Mackay shared his thoughts about the impact of converging channels on the evolution of F&B; Bastiaan van Asten presented learnings from Avolta’s Sustainable Food Route partnership with Royal Schiphol Group; and Laura FitzRandolph provided fresh insights about effectively developing and retaining our people – a common challenge across the industry. Eugenio Andrades Legacy debuts its program in Spain with its first volunteer fun day! ✨ On Saturday 29 June, we had the pleasure of partnering with Fundación Deporte y Desafío for a heartwarming day of volunteering and support for children with disabilities. 172 people joined the event - a series of adapted activities from Multi-sport activities to Geocaching (a navigation game using GPS) - organised for 40 children, including the child of an Avolta team member and the sister of another. It was a day filled with joy and learning, with all the children participating with enthusiasm. Sports serve as a powerful means of integration into society and the support of this meaningful cause honors Eugenio’s memory through one of his passions; sport aimed at helping the underprivileged. Camillo Rossotto, Isabel Zarza, Fernando Nadal Rubio, Fernando Pérez-Peña del Llano and other members of our management and the wider Avolta team and their families were accompanied by Paula Dávila Martínez, Eugenio's wife and key advisor of the initiative and Jorge Perez de Leza, President of Fundación Deporte y Desafío.
