Azorra is today announcing the purchase of one Embraer E195 from Aurigny, the regional carrier for Guernsey, The Channel Islands.    Michael Davis, Chief Marketing Officer of Azorra, says: “The E195 continues to be in high demand and this opportunity to assist Aurigny is complementary to supporting the capacity needs of our existing Embraer customer base.” Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e9TrxM3D #azorranews #aircraftleasing #financing   

Azorra has proudly closed a US$450 million financing facility with Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES). After securing an initial $150 million facility in December 2024, the remaining $300 million facility closed today and is available to finance up to 15 Embraer E2 aircraft.  Claudia Ziemer, Azorra’s SVP of Finance, says: “The financial backing of BNDES has been instrumental as we support airlines globally with their fleet modernization efforts. Azorra is pleased to announce our commercial activities for the second quarter of 2024. We’ve achieved some significant milestones this quarter. Azorra is pleased to welcome another 2024 summer intern!  Guiqi Yang has joined our finance department. Guiqi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and will pursue a Masters in Aviation Finance at the University College Dublin starting in September.  Alan Stanford, Chief Financial Officer at Azorra, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Guigi to Azorra’s finance team. Hosted at the A220 plant in Mirabel, Quebec, the discussion covered the importance of diversity within leadership positions and addressed the challenges women face in the industry and how we can help to overcome them. Azorra proudly joined its partners Airbus and Breeze Airways™ for a special celebration ceremony in Mirabel, Canada this week. The A220 aircraft, which was delivered last month, is the first of 22 A220-300s from Azorra's firm orderbook and the 24th to join Breeze's fleet. Notably, it's also the first of Breeze’s A220s to be assembled at Airbus' Mirabel plant, where the A220 program is headquartered. Ron Baur, President of Azorra, says: "Today marks a significant step in our longstanding partnership with Breeze and expands our relationship with Airbus.
