We’re proud to announce the addition of Cory Nance to the BankOnIT team as our Risk Management Director. Cory is a commissioned bank examiner and most recently worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (FRB) for over ten years. His role at the FRB included participating in and leading numerous bank and service provider examinations. He also contributed to various Federal Reserve supervision system initiatives, including the interagency project to create a standard IT examination work program and Federal Reserve system supervision Cybersecurity and Fintech initiatives. He was recognized with a President’s Award for contributions to the Cybersecurity Program Group. Prior to the FRB, he worked in Internal Audit at a regional bank in Oklahoma. Cory is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). Cory's extensive experience makes him an invaluable addition to our team.

Vice Chairman Robert Mendez and Advisory Board member Ron Hulshizer presented on the topic of "Emerging Cybersecurity Threats and Risks" at the Senior Management Forum hosted by the Oklahoma Bankers Association in Las Vegas. We would like to express our gratitude to the OBA for hosting BankOnIT and give special thanks to the audience of banking leaders for their engagement and for sharing their questions and perspectives.

BankOnIT is proud to announce the addition of Ron Hulshizer to our Advisory Board. Ron's extensive experience in technology, auditing, and banking makes him an invaluable asset to our team. He spent over two decades at FORVIS (BKD), where he served as the Managing Director for the Financial Services Cyber Team. In this role, he was responsible for IT Audit reviews at more than 1,000 financial institutions. Ron is a member of ISACA® and InfraGard and holds several professional designations, including Certified Management Accountant® (CMA®), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). We are thrilled to have Ron in this critical role and look forward to benefiting from his expertise.

The BankOnIT Phoenix Learning Series was a remarkable success. We extend our gratitude to the speakers Matt Baldini, Patrick Rivenbark, Emily Bogan, Ron Hulshizer, and Matt Swanson for joining us and sharing their insights on modernizing banking customer experiences through a balanced approach of core processing, applications, and technical foundations. We also wish to express our appreciation to our esteemed guests from the BankOnIT CEO Community for sharing their unique perspectives with us and with each other.
