We are pleased to welcome Teddy Theryo, PE, as our Senior Structural Engineer II. With over 47 years of global experience in designing, constructing, and rehabilitating complex post-tensioned concrete bridges, including segmental and cable-supported structures, Teddy is a valuable addition to our team. For the past 8 years, he has worked with the Florida Department of Transportation on plan reviews for major Category II bridges, enhancing policy and design guidelines for segmental and post-tensioned bridges. "I met and collaborated with Teddy during his time working in the FDOT Structures Design Office and I was immediately impressed by his bridge structural knowledge and deep understanding of complex technical issues. People with Teddy’s vast experience is rare, and we are very fortunate to have him on our structural team. Welcome to the BCC family, Teddy!" - Daniel Raymat, PE - Director of Structures - Florida

We are proud to announce that BCC will receive two “Best in Construction” awards at the 2024 FTBA Annual Convention on August 2nd. These awards recognize our leadership in Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services in the Major Bridge category and the Interchange category. The project: “Turnpike/SR 821 Widening and Reconstruction, Enhancement of Interchanges” was constructed by Halley Engineering Contractors, who will also be honored at the conference alongside BCC. This project involved widening and reconstructing 6.5 miles of the HEFT/SR 821 and enhancing interchanges at NW 12th, 41st, 74th, and 106th Streets. Improvements at SR 836 included the construction of three new ramps and direct connection flyover ramps from SR 836 to the HEFT Express Lanes. New bridges were built over an active CSXT Railroad facility, SR 836, and NW 12th Street, providing connections to the Dolphin Mall and Dolphin Transit Station.
