Creating partnerships and building support for the benefit of students, staff, and faculty at Bakersfield College.

About us

The Bakersfield College Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 1975 to provide the community opportunities to support the college and its students, staff, and faculty. Gifts, grants, and bequests to the Foundation allow the college to: expand access and opportunity for learners of all ages; expand the quality and diversity of programming; purchase leading-edge technology for classrooms and labs; support professional development of staff and faculty; and enhance facilities to create an efficient and stimulating learning environment. For details, visit www.supportbc.org. Serving Bakersfield since 1913, Bakersfield College is one of the nation's oldest continually-operating community colleges. More than 35,000 students are served annually on the 153-acre main campus on Panorama Drive in Bakersfield, at the Delano Campus, at the Weill Institute in downtown Bakersfield, and at the BC Southwest campus in southwest Bakersfield.
