The Business and Industry Association is New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce and leading business advocate. Through advocacy with state legislators and regulators, we shape business-friendly public policy and provide counterbalance to legislation and regulations that threaten the growth and prosperity of New Hampshire business. The BIA is New Hampshire’s only broad-based, business advocacy organization. We monitor and respond to many issues that arise each year that directly impact businesses of all industries and sizes, providing them a direct connection to the legislative process The BIA represents more than 400 members in a variety of industries, including advanced manufacturing, high technology, professional services, financial services, health care, hospitality and tourism, public utilities, higher education and insurance. Member firms employ 86,000 people throughout the state and contribute $4.5 billion annually to the state’s economy.

NH home affordability hits all-time low Granite Staters’ ability to afford a house hit a new low in June as soaring prices and higher interest rates led to the worst affordability index score in the 21 years New Hampshire Association of REALTORS has tracked it. A division of the Boy Scouts of America serving all of New Hampshire, the council works with all youth starting in Kindergarten to age 21. They have a state-wide outreach program, Scoutreach, to provide all families an opportunity to experience Scouting with the elimination of financial barriers.
