Just like our biscuits, our team is on the rise.

About us

For over 50 years, Biscuitville has been a local, family-owned company known for serving up authentic Southern breakfast food made fresh daily from locally sourced ingredients. With over 60 quick-casual locations in North Carolina and Virginia, we’ve assembled a new, driven, and experienced leadership team committed to unprecedented growth. Since our rebranding in 2014 as Biscuitville Fresh Southern®, we’ve embarked on completely remodeling all our restaurants. And, in stark contrast to most of our competitors, we’ve experienced double-digit sales increases throughout fiscal year 2017. We’re proud of the fact that our fresh-baked biscuits have become almost legendary here in the South. (Garden & Gun magazine included them among their “100 Southern Foods You Absolutely Must Try Before You Die.”) Yet what truly sets us apart is our entrepreneurial spirit. We build amazing teams of passionate individuals while creating an open, collaborative environment designed to foster personal growth. And we encourage that growth to extend beyond the workplace: Our restaurants all close at 2 p.m., and our corporate headquarters closes at 3 p.m. every Friday—allowing for a work-life balance not found anywhere else in our industry.

  • We're thrilled to announce that our Virginia guests will be the first to enjoy the return of our beloved Hashbrown Casserole. This guest favorite, which was tested in markets across Virginia in 2023, is making a comeback due to popular demand. The success of the Hashbrown Casserole in Virginia will determine whether it will be added to Biscuitville’s menu in all markets. “When we pulled the Hashbrown Casserole from the menu after its short run in 2023, guests quickly let us know they were awaiting its return, and we’re pleased to announce its back for Virginia guests for a limited time.” - James McCurley, Chief Restaurant Excellence Officer.

  • We are thrilled to announce the winners of Biscuitville’s 2024 Biscuit Bake-Off Competition! Congratulations to Team Members Anareli Valdez Hernandez and Brenda Hortencia Martinez from our 2619 Alamance Road restaurant in Burlington, NC, who showcased their incredible biscuit-making skills to take home the grand prize of $2,000 each! Our annual Biscuit Bake-Off features multiple rounds of competition among our talented biscuit makers from our 80 restaurants across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The bake-off begins each spring, starting at the biscuit makers' home restaurants and culminating in a thrilling championship round in May, where the final two crew members and final two managers compete for the top spot. We proudly announced this year’s winners at our annual Big BOP (Biscuitville Operators Picnic) celebration held on June 11th. Thank you to all participants for your dedication and exceptional skills. Here’s to more delicious competitions and outstanding achievements! “Without excellent-quality biscuits served fast and fresh to our guests, we couldn’t call ourselves Biscuitville. Our annual Biscuit Bake-Off is an opportunity for our best bakers to engage in a friendly competition that showcases their skills and the pride they take in their craft.” - Kim Avery, Biscuitville’s Vice President of Operations

  • Last week's Big BOP (Biscuitville Operators Picnic) was a joyous blend of camaraderie and celebration, as Biscuitville Operators, the Restaurant Support Center, and the Distribution Center gathered for a memorable time of reflection and fun. This year was particularly special as we honored 23 employees who achieved a significant milestone: five years of dedicated service, earning them a spot in Biscuitville’s Founder’s Club. This tradition, started by our founder Maurice Jennings over 30 years ago, recognizes the commitment and loyalty of our team members. Today, we proudly count 185 employees as part of this Founder’s Club! Events like the Big BOP not only foster a strong sense of community but also underscore our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our employees. Here's to continuing our journey together at Biscuitville, celebrating milestones, and creating memorable experiences year after year!

  • In celebration of #NationalBestFriendsDay, we're highlighting a favorite partner of ours, Red Clay® Gourmet. This family-owned company in Winston-Salem makes their tasty, small-batch Jalapeño Pimento Cheese with hand-shredded, sharp white-cheddar cheese, cage-free eggs, and flame roasted jalapeños from North Carolina. To truly appreciate the Flavor of Local®, try it slathered on our Fried Steak, Spicy Chicken, or Sausage Biscuits! Thank you, Lance and Michele Sawyer, for letting us visit!
