Yall this was a house used to traffic women and dope for years - we shut down the operation, acquired the property, tore it down, and now we’re rebuilding it into a safe house/sober living for women and kids. When complete, we’ll be able to house four family units, a place to reunite kids with sober mamas!!! But, as Chris Bobbitt explains in this video, it’s EXPENSIVE. We need help. Our dream is to see this work spread across America, but we need to be able to show more than one “success” for that to happen. To date, we’ve shuttered three dope houses and gotten north of 200 individuals off the streets, clean, and back into the work force - that’s HUGE and it wouldn’t have happened without YALL! In 100 years, in 2124, we will all be dead and buried alongside our relatives and friends. Strangers will live in the homes we fought so hard to build and will own everything we have today. That car you spent a fortune on will probably be scrapped, totaled, or in the hands of an unknown collector. Our descendants will barely know who we were and will not remember us. How many of us know our great-grandfathers? After our death, we will be remembered for a few years, then we will only be a portrait in someone's library. A few years later, our history, photos, and deeds will be forgotten. We won't even be memories. Maybe if we stopped to think about these questions, we would understand how foolish and weak our dreams of obtaining everything are. If we could think differently, certainly our approaches and thoughts would change, and we would become different people. Always wanting more and more, without time for the things that truly matter in life... I'd change all that to live and enjoy those walks I've never taken, those hugs I never gave, those kisses for our children and our loved ones. Those would definitely be the best moments to remember. They would fill our lives with joy. And that is what we waste with greed, intolerance, and selfishness day after day! There is still time for us! Decide what REALLY matters and what YOU want YOUR legacy to be!
