Public Service Recognition Week is celebrated the first week of May since 1985 to honor the people who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees. Each year, the City of Brea does their best to recognize its employees during this time with an All Star Award. We recognize that every employee is critical to our success. However, there are times when employees perform so exceptionally that they should be rewarded for exceeding Brea’s standards of excellence. That’s where the All Star Award comes in. The recipient of this award is nominated by their peers. This year we recognize Ana Conrique, the Senior Accountant in the Administrative Services Department. Her character, work ethic and kindness to others is unmatched. Congratulations Ana!
