We’re starting a series spotlighting our staff! 💡We’re excited to kick off our first with Family Engagement Specialist, Brayden. We asked him a few questions below: Q: What do you like most about your job? A: I love seeing the kids everyday while watching them grow and flourish into amazing people. Q: What motivates you in your personal and professional life? A: My friends and family motivate me the most. Q: What do you like to do for fun or in your free time? A: In my free time I’m most likely either taking care of my house plants or in the gym. Q: Tell me a little about your family. A: I’m from a small town and live with my mom, dad, and brother. Q: What’s a silly fact about you? A: I say I’m 6 feet but really, I’m 5’11! 😂 We’re so grateful to have Brayden on our team! Our Family Engagement Specialists run our Activity Center and are essential to providing professional care and supervision to children while onsite. Parents can utilize our Activity Center for their kiddos when onsite, so they have a safe space to get therapy themselves or speak with a family advocate. #StaffSpotlight #FamilyEngagement #ChildCare #ActivityCenter #ProfessionalCare

Texas has both civil and criminal laws to protect children from abuse and neglect. If you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected, the law requires that you report it. We strongly advise calling BOTH the Texas Abuse Hotline and your local law enforcement to file a report. We thank you for doing your part! #ChildProtection #TexasLaw #AbusePrevention #ProtectChildren #ReportAbuse #ChildSafety #AbuseAwareness

Words from our fearless leader and CEO, Kristen Howell. Everything we do is aimed at eliminating the negative outcomes associated with child abuse and giving back the full potential of the child. We’re doing big things this year like scaling our Training Institute, which will allow our partners to receive education and certifications focused on improving their MDT response on crimes against children. #ChildAbusePrevention #MDTResponse #TrainingInstitute #ChildAdvocacy

Happy Fourth of July everyone! Our fourth and final way to support the CACNT is by signing up to Be The One. We’re calling on our supporters and friends to sign up to be one safe adult for one child in your city or community. With $200 or $20/month, you can support a child’s first steps into our doors. Visit our Be the One page on our website to see those who have already pledged their name and get inspired to join us. https://lnkd.in/g527uuVz #HappyFourthOfJuly #BeTheOne #MakeADifference #CommunitySupport #SupportChildren

Four ways to support the CACNT this Fourth of July. Number three, learn more about our mission and the cause we serve. Any type of abuse a child can endure has the potential to not only cause a family crisis, but also lead to personal and interpersonal issues in other avenues of life. That’s why it’s essential for parents to be as informed as possible. Visit our website to learn more about what to look out for and how to report if you spot it. https://lnkd.in/eh4aeeA #ChildAbusePrevention #AwarenessMatters #SupportCACNT
