The Cybercrime Section is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Cybercrime Investigation and Prosecution Conference on September 4 and 5, 2024, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, in Sacramento. We would like to extend a warm invitation to all law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, auditors, and analysts who work within the cybercrime space in California. Registration is free. At this two-day conference, we will follow evidence in a hypothetical case as it progresses through four topic-specific blocks: I. Investigating Crimes on the Internet II. Cryptocurrency Fundamentals III. Search Warrant Practice IV. Data Analysis as Evidence Each block is designed to begin with basics and provide attendees with access to technical experts who dive deeper into the topic, providing insights and strategies. We will present a case study enabling attendees to practice applying the concepts and techniques discussed. This interactive approach is designed to provide attendees with practical skills and a deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions in cybercrime cases. We hope you can join us for this important event and networking opportunity with other law enforcement professionals. Early registration is encouraged as spaces are limited.
