We are proud to provide a safe alternative to predatory lending through our Impact Loan program, offering a hassle-free solution to folks like client Ashley Hernandez. We know how difficult it can be to make ends meet, especially when faced with an unexpected crisis. "I had a very positive experience with Capital Good Fund. My credit isn't perfect but it’s not horrible either. Capital Good Fund provided my family with an emergency (impact) loan due to unexpected circumstances at the end of 2023. The staff were kind, considerate, professional, and understanding. The monthly payments are VERY affordable for our budget and you can't beat the interest. Plus, I'm reporting a positive payment history for my credit at the same time. I absolutely love Capital Good Fund and am very grateful for them. Thank you for being there when we needed you and for giving us a chance. Thank you for your support, The Heinz Endowments!
Today the Endowments announced $9.3 million in grants to 35 organizations whose work focuses on confronting #ClimateChange, reducing adverse environment-related health effects & improving equitable access to healthy food in the SW PA region. “The toxic air, water & land pollution inherited from the past, as well as that from present-day industry, affect not only those near the sites who are often the least equipped to avoid the resulting adverse health effects, but also our region’s ability to prepare for the vibrant & inclusive economy of the future,” said Endowments President Chris DeCardy. Nicole Lee, who began Be Smart Home Solutions in 2022, was awarded the Women of the Year Award, and Aisha Bussey, Chief Business Officer at Captial Good Fund, was recognized as a Rising Star in Solar. Through their dedication and innovative approach, they have spearheaded efforts to provide affordable solar solutions through leasing options, effectively lowering barriers for households traditionally underserved in the renewable energy sector. During the past 60 days, Capital Good Fund has originated $1.9 million worth of energy-efficient/weatherization upgrade loans for homeowners in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In the same 60-day period in 2020, Capital Good Fund closed $186,000 worth of energy-efficient equipment upgrades. These upgrades make homes more comfortable, healthier, and better for the environment. This impact could not have happened without the dedication of all of my colleagues at Capital Good Fund who are laser-focused on our mission to create pathways out of poverty and advance a green economy through inclusive financial services.
