Immersed in the vibrant sounds of Music City, we spent three energizing days in Nashville, TN, with our incredible Carpet One Floor & Home members, exchanging ideas and fostering a spirit of collaboration. We started these amazing three days at the renowned Analog Lounge, featuring the talented Kayley Bishop, a former contestant on The Voice. Our members and staff enjoyed food, exceptional music, and engaging conversations while networking and getting into the groove for our days ahead. The real fun began with a celebratory recognition of upcoming business anniversaries. This was followed by informative member panels, town hall meetings, cooperative updates, and a vendor showcase. The closing night was spent enjoying Nashville's hospitality at Garth Brooks' new establishment, Friends in Low Places. Thank you for being an incredible host, Nashville! This #NationalHomeownershipMonth, we salute the real heroes! We're proud to partner with incredible organizations like the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Smart Home Program, building life-changing homes equipped with cutting-edge technology for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. To date, our cooperative has had a hand in building 70 mortgage-free homes! Additionally, our Canadian members have partnered with the Homes for Heroes Foundation, an organization that aids veterans and first responders in achieving homeownership dreams. Previously, their support included flooring and backsplash materials for the Veterans' Villages in Kingston, Ontario, and Edmonton, Alberta. For years, our members have been instrumental in giving back – this month, we celebrate their incredible contributions, offering these heroes the security and stability of homeownership. Thank you! Carpet One Floor & Home Makes a Splash in Newport Beach, California! The California sun has set on our latest Summer Regional Meeting! Our Carpet One cooperative members spent three days immersed in learning, connection, and building a stronger cooperative. From insightful leadership talks to informative discussions, we charted the course for success and shared best practices. Our members attended a vendor fair, discussed marketing initiatives and hiring best practices, engaged in member-to-member discussions, and built relationships within our cooperative. To top it all off, we enjoyed a scenic dinner cruise, taking in the breathtaking views of Newport Beach from the water—an unforgettable experience! Thank you to Newport Beach for hosting us! We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of Homes for Heroes Kingston Village on Tuesday, June 4th! Carpet One Canada is honoured to support this incredible foundation and provide all the flooring and tile for its new Kingston location. The Kingston village features 20 tiny homes and a dedicated resource centre offering veterans the support they need to transition back into civilian life. This aligns perfectly with Carpet One Canada's commitment to helping Homes for Heroes end veteran homelessness across Canada. We also provided the flooring for their Edmonton village, which opened in November 2021! We're proud to partner with Homes for Heroes and Beaulieu Canada to make a positive difference in the lives of our veterans.
