We had the privilege of hosting 23 bright high school sophomores and juniors from Girls Inc. for a Shadow Day filled with learning and connection, sponsored by our Women’s Leadership & Networking Committee. The day started with a panel discussion, where women representing various departments at Centri shared “How they support Centri’s initiatives” and “The path they’ve taken in their career thus far.” The girls then engaged in hands-on activities with our team, gaining an understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of an entrepreneur building their business. The session ended with a group lunch, fostering collaboration and conversation. Centri believes in making a positive impact in our community and sharing the opportunities that await in our industry. We were thrilled to spend the day with Girls Inc. and share the importance of empowering the next generation of leaders! #GirlsInc #Learning #Development #Collaboration #Community #Entrepreneurial #Centri #TeamCentri #FindtheExpertinYou

Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) is a financial accounting standard introduced by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). It replaced the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses Standard with the CECL method. As a result, future expected losses will be determined based on the borrower’s credit history, borrowing conditions, and the projected performance of the business. Because CECL impacts common assets such as accounts receivable from sales transactions, CECL impacts nearly every business. Our insight explains the three key similarities of successful CECL implementations and how Centri’s technical accounting experts work as an extension of your team to save you time and effort in developing a robust CECL model.
