EMBOTRAP® III 5x37 mm vs. 8cm clot. According to Dr. Ezzeldin, A 55 old patient presented with left MCA syndrome. Underwent three passes of mechanical thrombectomy using EMBOTRAP® III 5x37mm. Dr. Ezzeldin was able to retrieve an 8cm clot extending from distal M2 to proximal M1; wrapped around and inside of the device. The final pass, resulting in a TICI 3.
