  • 🇺🇸 Honored to have Pipe Major Rob Simmons from Southeastern Virginia Firefighters Pipes and Drums join us for our monthly Honor Guard training session! Last month, we practiced the art of flag folding, learning professional ceremonial techniques. Huge thanks to Rob Simmons for his invaluable insights and dedication to preserving traditions. The Police Honor Guard typically performs ceremonial duties such as presenting the colors at official events, funerals, and memorials, as well as providing tributes to fallen officers. They uphold traditions, demonstrate respect, and honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers. Additionally, they participate in community outreach and engagement activities to build positive relationships with the public. #ChesapeakePolice #HonorGuard #FlagFolding City of Chesapeake
