Which of the following talks from #CloudFoundryDay 2024 are you wishing you were here for? Sergey Matochkin spoke about Geo-Distributed Ingress on the platform across 9 different time zones using a mix of Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), Service Mesh, and load balancing proxies to improve application availability and performance. Wayne E Seguin, always entertaining, talks about the Taming of the Queue, and how to auto-scale work queue background workers based on database worker queue size. Not only insightful, but he delivered a portion of the speech in Old English. Dr Xiujiao Gao informs us how Credhub and Vault are better together for secrets management to enhance transparency, while protecting integrity and confidentiality, of deployments. We also learned, while she's brave enough to do talks, she's not quite brave enough for live demos. :) Maria Shaldybin educated the gathering on the categories, types, and advanced health check configurations to improve effectiveness and ensure the reliability of your applications running on #CloudFoundry. This is proving to be an educational, and engaging, day! Can't wait for the remaining presentations!
