It is with a saddened heart that we share that EF Board Member, Mary Culpepper's special needs daughter, Liza, passed away Friday evening unexpectedly. At the Culpepper family's request, we have set up an endowment in her memory called the Liza Culpepper Endowment supporting programs for Life Skills and Special Needs Classrooms in College Station I.S.D. The Education Foundation was pleased to award a record $193,100 in college and vocational scholarships to College Station I.S.D. seniors! Recipients and donors gathered at a reception sponsored by Avinext to celebrate their accomplishments with family and friends Five seniors received special 25th Anniversary scholarships worth $5,000 to mark the Foundation's important milestone and its commitment to supporting CSISD students.
