  • CPP is pleased to announce the acquisition and planned renovation of the historic Elmore Roberts property in Great Falls, Montana. Through the acquisition, CPP will preserve 60 units for families in the Downtown Great Falls area earning 50% of the area median income (AMI). CPP has planned robust site renovations to enhance modernization, ADA compliance, and efforts to increase sustainability across the property. Residents will also have access to services provided by non-profit partner NeighborWorks Great Falls, including rental and financial capabilities counseling, providing connections to local financial resources, and homeownership counseling.   • CPP is pleased to announce the acquisition and planned renovation of Crestview Terrace, an affordable housing development in Ellensburg, Washington. Through the acquisition, CPP will preserve 168 units for residents earning between 40% and 50% of area median income (AMI), including a number of special needs groups including large families, persons with disabilities, and people experiencing homelessness. Crestview Terrace will also be supported by CPP non-profit partner HopeSource, who will provide services to the property residents experiencing homelessness. Residents can participate in programs which will help families and individuals with goal setting and self-sufficiency planning, as well as connecting clients with community resources and classes to bolster skills in budgeting, money management, nutrition, home management, parenting, literacy, employment training, and childcare.   • Exciting news from HUD: The Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced $30 billion in renewal funding for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, ensuring continued assistance for millions of families and individuals in need of affordable housing. Not only is there an increase in funding, but HUD is also making it easier for people experiencing homelessness to qualify for assistance by allowing self-certification of income.     CPP and WNC & Associates are pleased to announce the acquisition and planned renovation of the Canoga Park Apartments in Los Angeles, CA. Through the acquisition, CPP will preserve 14 units in the Canoga Park neighborhood, underscoring the continued need for affordable housing in the area. CPP has planned a total site renovation for the community, which will enhance its modernization, ADA compliance, and energy efficiency, along with improving security with minimal impact to current residents. Additionally, Canoga Park residents will be able to participate in adult education, health and wellness, and skill-building classes and services provided by LifeSteps, one of CPP's nonprofit partners in residential services at CPP properties throughout California.   • CPP property Golden West Towers had an Active April at the community's resource center run by nonprofit partner Project Access. Residents were able to participate in many activities throughout the month, including new English as a Second Language (ESL) classes catered to each student’s level, a technology literacy workshop with a Humana Medicare Agent, and a Financial Literacy on Safe Banking seminar, presented bilingually in Chinese and Korean. Thank you Project Access for helping us provide a different way to home for CPP property residents. #CPP #AffordableHousing
