The Continental Congress formally declared freedom from Great Britain on July 2, 1776, but approved the Declaration of Independence two days later. John Adams was so sure that July 2 would be the date of the holiday that he wrote, 'I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival…It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade with shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations.' It was an incredible experience gaining valuable insights into the FAA's strategies for safely integrating UAS operations into the National Airspace System (NAS). Our team - Kevin Schweer and Michael Hawrysko - gained invaluable insights as we continue to shape the future of the UAS industry.   A special shoutout to the FAA Executives Tim Arel, Lawrence Wildgoose, Marc Nichols, Jeffery Vincent, Tanya Coultas, Micah Campbell, and others for their outstanding collaboration with industry leaders.
