In honor of Patient Safety Awareness Week, Datavant is eliminating industry-standard charges for patients who request their health records from providers that have adopted Datavant's digital connectivity technology. In 2023, Datavant processed over 60M record requests, which included over 2M patient requests. Starting April 1st, we will fulfill digital patient requests through providers in the Datavant networks at no cost to patients. Validated data streams are uniquely accepted as standard supplemental data in HEDIS® audits. This eases the quality measurement load and means no primary source verification (PSV) is required for HEDIS reporting, allowing our Health Plans customers to benefit directly through time and cost savings, reduced audit burden and reduction of complex administrative tasks.
