About us

The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the Dayton, Ohio region, serving 2,200 business members in 14 counties. Established in 1907 by John Patterson, the DACC draws upon its size and influence to serve as a strong advocate for business needs. Our mission is to strengthen, promote and advocate for our member businesses and the region’s economy. Anyone with a business can become a member of the chamber. Members receive exclusive access to networking opportunities, extended business reach, access to other chamber members, access to advocacy lobbyists, and a lot more. Since 1995, we have been five star accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, putting us in the top 20 chambers in the country. VALUES Diversity: We believe our differences give us the perspective, strength and wisdom that are critical to our success. Advocacy: We seek to understand the needs of our members and to champion the causes that matter to our business community. Collaboration: We connect our members and our community to produce unique opportunities for economic growth and prosperity. Courage: We show leadership, integrity and transparency to earn and maintain the trust of our members.
