Week 3 of the #SummerofPsychTechs: What is a Psychiatric Technician? Becoming a Psych Tech is a career path not many are aware of but has the potential to make a major impact and help others. Psych Techs at DDS provide on-site behavioral training and psychiatric nursing care to people with developmental disabilities. Every Psych Tech completes an accredited program and receives a license to practice as a Psych Tech.
