This past Sunday, DME associates gathered at Comerica Park to root for our hometown heroes, witnessing the Tigers clinch a thrilling 4-3 comeback victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers, their second straight rally win. As we head into the All-Star break, we're stepping up to the plate to recognize our true MVPs - our valued customers! Just like the Detroit Tigers' recent comeback victory, the team at DME continues to knock it out of the park. We may not have peanuts and Cracker Jack, but we've got something better: a roster full of all-stars, innovative products, and solutions that are always ready to root, root, root for success. As we round the bases towards the second half of the year, let's keep our eye on the ball. Yesterday's Tigers game is a perfect metaphor for our approach at DME. Down 3-0 after the first inning, the Tigers rallied in the bottom of the ninth. With two strikes, the lead-off batter smashed a triple. A clutch single tied the game. Two well-placed bunts, coupled with the opponent's error, brought home the winning run. Just like in baseball, while we're always ready to 'swing for the fences' at DME, we know it's often the small plays - the bunts, the stolen bases, the defensive shifts - that win games. Every small accomplishment by our team members and customers add up, supporting our winning strategy.
