Are you involved with trauma or emergency services? Doctors Medical Center is offering an Emergency & Trauma Symposium on Friday, Sept. 27 from 8 am - 3:30 pm. The symposium will cover best practices including: new DKA protocols, pre-hospital management of traumatic injuries from head to stomach, the relationship of gunshot energy and the type of wounding, how to be aware of gangs, and trauma nurse processes. Six Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits are available. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register and pay at DMC Trauma Services (adjacent to the ambulance bay). Questions? Call 209-576-3776.
