This year, we are proud to provide 335 scholarships, totaling $1.6 million, to students and prospective students pursuing education in two-year or four-year colleges, vocational schools, or certificate programs. We are excited to announce that this week, we celebrated the Grand Opening of Briar Park and The Paramount, in Atlanta, Georgia, Dominium’s newest affordable housing communities. Located off Greenbriar Parkway, these projects mark Dominium’s first new construction within the city of Atlanta. Together, Briar Park and The Paramount will introduce 448 units of affordable housing, providing over 1,000 low-income seniors and families a place to call home in Atlanta’s Greenbriar community. Briar Park offers one- and two-bedroom apartments tailored for seniors aged 55 and older, while The Paramount features up to three-bedroom units designed for families and workforce housing. Both communities boast a wide array of amenities and exceptional features. We were honored by the presence and remarks from Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Councilmember Marci Collier Overstreet, DCA Commissioner Christopher Nunn, and H.J. Russell CEO Michael Russell, Sr., in addition to Dominium Vice President and Project Partner Shaun Reinhardt. We're excited to welcome and announce the Dominium employees who were hired, and ones who received a promotion in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024. We expanded our talent base by hiring 160 new employees (33 corporate, 127 site) and advanced the positions of 18 more. Summer is in full swing in our communities, and this June, the team at Magnolia Courts in Augusta, Georgia, organized an Art Camp for the children at the community whose families may not have had the opportunity to attend a summer camp or vacation.  The Magnolia team thoughtfully orchestrated an unforgettable two-day experience, packed with activities like coloring, games, painting, and provided lunch for all the children. The Women's Affordable Housing Network (WAHN) hosted its inaugural 2024 Summit in Atlanta recently, aiming to amplify diverse voices to foster thriving communities for all. The event provided an exceptional opportunity for industry professionals to connect, learn and empower each other within the affordable housing sector. Dominium was well-represented with several WAHN members attending.
