REMINDER: We invite all community members to attend the Juvenile Justice Planning Forum on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Metropolitan Community College Fort Omaha Campus, Building 22 at 5300 N. 30th Street in Omaha. The purpose of this forum is to assist Douglas County in identifying what our priority items should be for our next Youth Services Plan. This plan will help in allocating State of Nebraska Community-Based Juvenile Services Aid Grant funds. Priority areas include the following: ✅ Diversion ✅ Excessive absenteeism ✅ Mental health services ✅ Other services that will divert youth from the juvenile justice system. These planning forums are open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Questions?
