2023 was the 3rd wettest year in history in Connecticut. Soaked work sites resulted in delays and added costs. We sampled and tested the soaked, silty soil containing 33% fines near Bradley Int'l Airport, and gave the GC a stabilization option using Duraflex to clear the site for a warehouse pour. This cut is from a mix of in-situ soil, 10% cement and 2% Duraflex after 7 days. Our solution saves this project 35% vs bringing in aggregate base at 10". Wet soil, Duraflex solves for this ...
