🎉 Congrats to our first ever Garden City Operator Trainees on obtaining their certificates. These individuals successfully completed 6-months of training in the classroom and on the job, which required a lot of travel away from home to South Sioux City for hands on experience in an operational plant. They will be a part of the new team of Operators at our Garden City Plant. We are so proud of them and are excited to have them be a vital part of our new facility. BIG THANKS to our Garden City plant who worked with USD 457 Garden City Public Schools to participate in Stuff the Bus. Their donations will go toward filling 2,000 backpacks with school essentials for this upcoming school year in Finney County, Kansas. These supplies will go to students in need ranging from preschool to high school within the community. 🍎✏️

Meet Rodrigo. He went to school for Mechanical Engineering and interned at empirical during that time. He's now been with us for about a year and a half as a Mechanical Inspector in our Machine Shop. "I find it fascinating to get to dabble with design and to see how to create things and how things can be assembled to manufacture what we do at empirical." Rodrigo looks forward to career growth at empirical - seeing himself moving up to Machine Operator and Programmer in the future. You can find a place at empirical in a technical role, too.
