Yesterday, we spent the afternoon leading our Deskbound: No More Course at POET. Pain is not limited to the gym, it can also make its way into the workplace, especially for those that are deskbound in today’s sedentary world. We worked through various exercises, stretches and foam rolling techniques that can be performed in the workplace. Movement doesn’t have to be complex! Here are a few tips we recommend for all Deskbound workers: 1️⃣ Implement 2 minutes of movement for half hour of sitting 2️⃣ Get creative with your movement - mix up your seated positions and taking walking meetings when you can 3️⃣ Perform 10 minutes of self care every day - stretching, walking or mobility exercises are a great place to start!
