Our customers are our biggest inspiration. But finding the right retailers to feature in our Shelf Love campaign, a series of short videos highlighting unique retailers and their aspirational merchandising skills, was a little less than straightforward. Search is an indispensable tool for us as we empower retailers to find products that are relevant, personalized, and desirable. However, from a technology perspective, finding the right approach to search has required, well, a bit of searching. Jason Xu from our data team shares our journey and learnings around search at Faire, and how we've enabled the semantic search functionality through embedding-based retrieval: https://lnkd.in/g-XgXF-p
