Have you ever listened to a story and thought, "Wow! I'm glad it's not just me!" It's a relief, isn't it? When you realize that you are not alone in the world. That happened at our Speechless GrandSlam in June. So many people in the audience connected to our winner Tamica's story that they ROARED with joy as the judges gave Tamica perfect 10s across the board. That joyful noise was so loud that our Director of Marketing's watch logged a 90-decibel loud environment warning. That's the power of storytelling. That's the power of connection. That connection drives everything we do at First Person Arts. It's why we do what we do. But we can't do what we do without you. Please consider a donation to First Person Arts so that we can help more people share the story inside of them. The link's in the bio or you can go to FirstPersonArts.org/donate. --- First Person Arts is Philly’s original storytelling arts nonprofit, We believe that everyone has a story to tell and that the art of storytelling has the power to connect people and change lives. We’re a 501(3)(c), and your donation is tax-deductible. #storytelling #firstpersonarts #realstoriesrealpeople #wherephillygetreal #philadelphia #nonprofit #DonateToFPA #StoryTime
