As a result, they may be called upon even more to address difficult tasks, compounding the stress. Our advice? Check-in with your superheroes regularly before they reach a crisis point you had no idea was coming! Simply ask, “How are you given all the work you’ve been doing?” Create a path to openness: share your own challenges and ask for input on how to address them. Sometimes simply articulating matters of concern can diminish their impact. Encouraging your strongest players to express vulnerability in a comfortable way and then supporting them, results in team members who feel much more secure.
