Ray Moran of FON Valuation Services and Amit Kumar Singh of Adroit Group represented the FON Global Alliance at the Valuation 20 Conference (V20). The event was a great success, organized by the Assessors and Registered Valuers Foundation (AaRVF), the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), and the IBBI. The V20 brought together attendees, VPO's, regulators, and sponsors from around the world to discuss and align with the goals of the annual G20 finance meetings, set forth plans for next year's V20 in November, 2024 in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, and continue to grow the global V20 movement. The 20-year anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks recalls a sorrowful time in America. The world as we knew it changed that day, and the impact of the terrorist attacks continue to echo through history. But it is also a reminder of American courage and selflessness, as we remember the first responders who walked straight into burning buildings to help people to safety; the civilians who chose to put flight 93 into the ground in Pennsylvania to save other American lives; and the military members who immediately stood ready to defend our homeland. Today we pause to reflect and grieve as a nation, and to share our gratitude for the American spirit that is a constant source of light on even our darkest day.
